Welcome to My Diary of a Teen Parent

Hi and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a mum of three girls, each in a totally different phase of life—and parenting them is equal parts joy, chaos, and deep personal growth.

At home, I’ve got a bright, curious, and sassy tween who keeps me on my toes, a complex and beautifully layered 14-year-old middle child who’s teaching me the art of patience and perspective, and my eldest—a strong, independent 18-year-old university student who’s technically an adult… unless she needs help booking her own appointments.

Yep. That’s my crew.

I started Diary of a Teen Parent because, let’s be honest, parenting teens is a wild ride. It’s emotional, hilarious, confusing, exhausting—and somehow still the most heart-filling experience. There’s no manual, but there are plenty of moments worth sharing: the breakthroughs, the breakdowns (mine and theirs), and everything in between.

This blog is my honest space to reflect, vent, laugh, and connect with others who are in it too. You’ll find:

  • Real-life stories from our everyday life
  • Lessons I’ve learned (the hard way, most days)
  • The things no one prepares you for
  • Encouragement and honesty—especially for the tough days

And yes, I’ll talk openly about the harder stuff—mental health, anxiety, and the emotional weight that can come with raising teenagers. We need more spaces where that’s okay to say out loud.

I don’t have it all figured out. But I do believe in showing up with love, humor, and as much honesty as I can muster.

So whether you’re parenting teens, almost-teens, or just want to peek inside this stage of life—welcome to the chaos. I’m glad you’re here.

We’re in this together 💛
